Current work continues to explore the application of mixed media on various supports. I've always enjoyed working with dry media in particular--graphite, charcole, and soft pastel.
Recently, I've returned to working with acrylics on canvas as a base for my collage and mixed-media applications. I'm also trying to incorporate the use of block printing within my pieces.
Themes continue to explore reflections on nostalgia and our relationship to time.
I'm also preparing for a solo show at Wireworks called "Flight." All of the work will address various themes using birds as subjects.
